HK image: deeper blacks, but the contrast seems to be a bit high (burned white) french image: the image seems to present a grey layer, making the blacks less deep than on the HK DVD. On the contrary, the contrast seems to be more natural. Globally it's hard to really choose an image, each one has some qualities, and the sharpness is kind of the same on both discs.
