Around the year 2000, the news in Korea was filled with stories about failed businessmen committing suicide. These horrible incidents grew less shocking as they became daily events. The director chooses the subject of ‘bankruptcy’ and presents one scene after another that show the past ten years of Korean society. In such a ‘description’ that is not an analysis or an explanation one discovers a global way of operation that doesn’t ever change.
